The Idaho Automatic Weapons Collectors Association (IAWCA) is holding its annual submachine gun match on Saturday, Sept. 17 at the Parma Rod and Gun Club (PRnGC).
The match held at PRnGC will be in the lower pits area where we have access to multiple stages for competition. The competition this year will consist of 4 event stages where competitors shoot an event stage at each of the stages. The stages are all different and are uniquely designed by IAWCA members. Stages will have a variety of knock-down targets, no-shoot targets, moving targets, and possibly even reactive targets. Each of the stages will be timed events with time added for each missed target and for each no-shoot that is hit. At the end of the match, the winner will have the lowest total cumulative time on his score sheet.
The match is set up for full automatic competition with guns utilizing pistol caliber cartridges and each stage will require as much as 75 rounds. So, bring at least 300 rounds of ammo in magazines if you plan to attend. By the way, there will be time between stages to reload mags if you need.
Plan to be at the range at 8:30 AM on the morning, and we will begin registering at 9.
